If you made it down to see us at O.C, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed and appreciated you being there. Those who could not make it missed a great time. We have a number of bits of Booker news that we can share with you though. Some of it even folks who where there won't know about. Come see us at Little Texas (on May 24, NO COVER CHARGE) and ask about things like "how did a 3-year old girl demonstrate all on her own what a dedicated Booker fan she is", or "which Booker band member was interviewed on live radio," or "what connection was there between a 'Booker Clad' dance line and a helicopter." You will never guess why people thought there had to be sponser called J.R. Booker. Get all the answers and the music you love first chance you get. |

ITINERARY:
- Harford County Group meets up with Hunt Valley Group at Hunt Valley Church at approximately 1pm
- Leave Hunt Valley and meet up with Hampstead group
- Head to Gettysburg via some nice roads with covered bridges (Dana is planning the route)
- We'll eat lunch sometime in the afternoon...TBD
- Dinner plans are TBD

Hello my dear friends/colleagues! It is with profound sadness that I make this report to you. Classes here at the JR Booker Institute of Knowledge, Afghanistan Campus are going to have to be delayed for a length of time yet to be determined. After conducting a thorough review of each and every applicant, I have made the decision that not a single one of them is ready for learning in a performance-based environment. See below for one example...
Two days ago, a rather distinguished prospective student was attempting to decide where a portable gate shack should be placed. It should be noted the previous night's weather blessed us with an incredible amount of rain. Further, said portable gate shack was to be placed in a position where it could be utilized to control entry through a gate in a fence just big enough for one vehicle to fit through (one lane). Said applicant had been at this location for an unknown amount of time, accompanied by his loyal lap dog - who's only job is to run around kissing said applicant's rear end. Said applicant asked me if I thought the gate shack would sink in the mud on the far side of the opening in the fence. My reply was this....."What's wrong with the concrete I'm standing on right now?" It should be further noted that said concrete was on the left side of the opening, thus allowing for the driver's side of vehicles to be right next to the gate shack...seemed fairly logical to me. After much hand-wringing and hemming and hawing, said applicant gave in to the forces of reason and common sense, and decided to place the gate shack on hard concrete, instead of soft mud.
After this incident, this particular applicant had to be turned down. Perhaps some time in a prep school would prepare this lad for the educational challenges that await at the JR Booker Institute.
I hear the Dixie Chicks have a preparatory school of their own. It's unknown to me if this particular school has any redeeming qualities about it, or even if it has been accredited. It's rumored that details of the application process for the Dixie Chicks Prep School can be found in The Communist Manifesto.

Greetings Friends! Greetings from the JR Booker Institute of Knowledge, Afghanistan Campus! I wanted to touch base with my boys and see how everyone is doing. I will work on some material for the Institute of Knowledge and pass it on to you when it's been polished and funny. Hope all has been well with y'all!
Things here have been going ok. Only a couple rocket attacks so far, none close enough to cause me any real discomfort. I've attached a picture from over here....hope you like it, but not like that (Kenny). LOL Take care boys! I'll look forward to coming home and hearing some good country music and drinking some beer! See you in a few months.
